The final piece of the Lencioni puzzle is being Smart. But this isn't about being a math whiz or a rocket scientist. It’s about "People Smarts."

Smart players have common sense about people. They understand what is happening in a group room and how to effectively deal with others. They ask good questions, listen intently, and stay aware of how their words impact the team.

A team that is Hungry and Humble but not Smart will accidentally create collateral damage with their teammates.
